You should wear comfortable exercise clothing that is not too loose fitting. Avoid wearing any overpowering fragrance or heavy jewelry. If you have long hair, you should tie it up so that it is secure but comfortable. Yoga is a barefoot exercise - no shoes are allowed inside the room.
*For hot yoga, you should wear moisture-wicking clothing since the room is heated.
Please bring your own yoga mat and towel to class. If you are doing hot yoga, we suggest a skidless towel which is available for purchase in our shop.
Please ensure you are well-hydrated before class starts, and bring along a water bottle to replenish fluids during the practice.
Don't practice yoga on an empty stomach. Try to eat your last mealno less than 2 hours before class, but if you must eat quickly before class, have an easily digestible snack such as a fitness bar or a piece of fruit. We offer an assortment of energy bars, fruit and coconut water for purchase.
We have changing rooms, lockers and fully stocked showers. If you plan on using our showers following a class, please bring your own bath towel.
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before class to register, sign-in, and change (if necessary). Remove your shoes upon arrival and leave your electronic devices in a locker or with our check-in assistant. Plan to leave your bags in the lockable lockers and observe silence in the practice room for the duration of the class.
If you are new to yoga, please identify yourself to your instructor. This will enable him or her to assist you and will result in a more enjoyable experience.
Take a spot in the middle or back of the studio so you'll be able to see the instructor and other students moving into postures in front of you. All of our instructors are experienced professionals accustomed to introducing beginners to the discipline.
Our classes are accessible to all levels of ability. Our professional instructors will help you adapt any class to your level, and we encourage you to go at your own pace as you become accustomed to the postures and breathing disciplines.
Given the need for focus and quiet during a class, please ensure that all participants are at least 12 years of age. Any participant under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian to sign a waiver.
