Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up for a class?

Check out our schedule and find a session that you would like to attend. Once you click on a class, you will be prompted to set up an account and create a client profile. You will need this in order to purchase and register for classes. 


Can I drop in for a class?

You are more than welcome to drop in for a session, but we cannot guarantee that there will be a spot available. We highly recommend booking in advance, but payment can be made on arrival to the studio by credit or debit card. New clients can take advantage of our New Client Unlimited offer which is 30 days for $99. This includes all classes on the schedule. We do not offer a first class free, but you can take class prior to making a decision on if you would like to purchase this special or just 1 class. 

 

What should I do if it is my first class?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early and let our front desk associate know that it is your first class. We'll take care of the rest!

 

What is your cancellation and no-show policy?

All purchases are non-refundable.  In order to cancel a class and retain the credit, you must cancel your spot with at least a six hour notice.  You may cancel online or call the studio to cancel.  Classes not cancelled six hours in advance will be considered a late cancel.  If you are using a class package, a late cancel results in the loss of that class.  If you have an unlimited class card, you will be charged a $20 late cancel fee.

 

Do my prepaid sessions expire?

Our 5 class packs expire after 3 months. Our 10 class packs expire after 6 months. If you have expired classes in your account, you can reactivate them by making any new class package purchase. 

 

My favorite class time is booked!  Is there a wait-list?

Yes-and if you clear the wait-list, you will receive an email notification. If you cannot wait and need to make alternate plans and you no longer wish to attend the class, you can cancel yourself from the wait-list without any financial obligation. Alternately, if you get in off of the waitlist and cannot make it, please let us know within 1 hour of notification to avoid a late cancel penalty. 

 

What if I arrive late to class?

Please try to be on-time as once warm-up is completed, it is unsafe to join the class in progress. However, if you arrive more than 5 minutes late to a class, your reservation will be released to someone who is present and waiting.  If you arrive more than 10 minutes late or if spot was forfeited, we will waive the late cancel fee and do our best to try to get you into another class.  

How many classes should I take a week?

The ideal workout week has a variety of different physical activities in it.  In a perfect world, visiting our studio 3-5 times a week would be most beneficial for you.  The physical guidelines recommended by the American Heart Association are 150 minutes of moderate or 75 minutes of vigorous cardiovascular exercise plus 2 or more days a week of muscle strengthening activities.

 

Where can I park my car?

Outside of our neighbors business hours (9:30am - 5:30pm Tuesday thru Saturday), clients may use any of the 18 spaces directly behind the studio. During business hours we have 9 dedicated clearly marked parking spaces. If all those are taken, please see below for additional parking suggestions.


Additional parking areas:

  • The parking lot (Shoppers Parking) located next to the Bernardsville Post Office is also available to our clients.
  • Mill Street has 7 available parking spaces.
  • Anderson Hill Road street parking has 3 places and is directly outside Ride + Reflect front entrance.
  • Bernardsville Library Parking lot is located at 1 Anderson Hill Road. The walkway along the side/end of the Library comes out across from the studio.
  • Bernardsville Train Station on Mine Brook Road is just a short walk away.  (A handy warm up for a class!)


Do you cancel classes due to inclement weather and school snow days?
We rarely cancel classes or close the studio, but we will try to give you as much notice as possible.  Starting the night before inclement weather is predicted, please check the website schedule for up-to-the-minute schedule updates.

 

How do I buy a gift certificate?

Call or email us at ridereflect@gmail.com so we can help you find the best option and put a bow on it for you ;) 


 

House Rules

  1. No electronic devices in any studio.  Please leave them in your locker.  We would be happy to hold your phone at the desk if you are waiting on an important call.
  2. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class so we can all start on time.  
  3. If you are taking a yoga or meditation class, please remove your shoes before entering the Reflect Studio.
  4. Please keep all conversations to a minimum inside the Reflect Studio.  
  5. Please leave all of your personal belongings in the lockers and cubbies provided.
  6. We have filtered water on site, please bring your own reusable bottle.
  7. If you are planning on using our shower, please leave tidy after use.
  8. No gum chewing or any food in either of the studios.
