Mindfulness Workshop with Dan Guerra
Join us for this 2 hour mindfulness workshop delivered by clinical psychologist and mindfulness instructor, Dan Guerra, Psy.D. In this workshop, participants will learn a practical perspective on mindfulness and tease out what it is and what it is not. Most of the workshop will then center on developing the practice of mindfulness through the breath, the body and the mind. An introduction to stress, the nervous system and the brain in relationship to mindfulness will also be emphasized.
Dan Guerra, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist, executive coach, and mindfulness meditation instructor. He has over 20 years of experience helping others better understand the mind-body connection and to learn simple and powerful tools that promote well-being, relaxation, and effective management of stress. Dan has a private practice in Manhattan and travels internationally for public speaking engagements and executive coaching. A main focus of this work with others is discovering and acknowledging a person's already existing resources and strengths that can be leveraged for a psychology of health and well-being.
