This interactive workshop gives girls, ages 12-15, the opportunity to engage in exercises where they explore their internalized beliefs about beauty and their bodies, and are given the tools to understand that these negative beliefs have a detrimental impact on the way they view themselves.
Combining body image awareness, media literacy, reflective group exercises and yoga, we begin to establish a sense of worthiness and purpose in the world. Girls are sent home with tools and encouraged to continue their journey by being the voice of change within their families and social circles. See and experience for yourself just how worthy you are from the inside out. Change the conversation from criticism to kindness. This is a valuable workshop you won't want to miss!

Join us for this very special event with A Master of Flow, Kelly Kamm. Kelly's workshops are challenging, musical, poetic, and deeply spiritual. She is known for her storytelling and her ability to make the philosophy of yoga relatable to every day life. She combines the power of movement, music, and myth to help others move through life's transitions with grace and ease.
Many people have heard of the great Persian mystic poet, Rumi, but few know the story behind his poems. In Kelly's workshop you'll learn all about Rumi's relationship with his beloved friend's and how these relationships broke him and liberated him at the same time. Poetry woven into asana will give us insight into both his heart and our own hearts, because Rumi's story is our story. It's a tale of love, loss, emptiness and what fills that emptiness. We will dance on our mats like the whirling dervishes of ancient Persia, encountering some arm balances and backbends along the way, and landing in the sweetest savasana.
