Yoga Nidra is a powerful, evidence-based practice that transforms the negative effects of stress on our bodies and minds. It is a process of learning how to relax consciously through the different layers of our bodies and minds, addressing muscular, emotional, psychological, and subtler tensions that get accumulated through our lives. The regular practice of Yoga Nidra has addressed many physiological problems affected by these tensions including hypertension, chronic pain, diabetes, migraines, asthma, ulcers, digestive disorders, and skin diseases. For those with healthier bodies, the practice can increase well being and help us better achieve our life goals through visioning.
